On December 22, 2022, Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) granted ADB the Type Certificate for its ADB-3-3 aircraft, after a certification process that lasted for a few years and heavily involved the company’s teams of Engineering, Designs, Certification, Operations and Production, as well as partner companies such as Avionics Services and Latécoère.



Such Type Certificate attests that the ADB-3-3 was designed in accordance with the safety requirements demanded by the certifying agency for aircrafts of this size and category, that is, that its design is safe enough and can operate on national territory. Simultaneously, Airship do Brasil is developing the Production Certification together with ANAC, aiming at the serial manufacture of this type of aircraft for commercial exploitation purposes.



To make the achievement official, a Type Certificate delivery ceremony was held on December 22, headquartered in Brasilia, in which the certificate was received by Mr. Irani Bertolini, owner of Empresas Bertolini, a group Airship do Brasil is a part of, and a great enthusiast of airships in Brazil.
